These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of VanGuard, a food safety compliance app available at vanguardapp.co.uk. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.
VanGuard provides digital tools to help mobile food businesses record and manage food safety compliance data, including temperature logs, cleaning records, and inspection checklists. VanGuard is a record-keeping tool — it does not guarantee compliance with any specific regulation or inspection outcome.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for:
You must be at least 18 years old and operating a legitimate food business to use VanGuard.
VanGuard offers a monthly subscription and a one-time lifetime access option. Prices are displayed at checkout in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store payment card details.
You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time through your account settings. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods. For lifetime access purchases, refunds may be requested within 14 days of purchase if you have not actively used the service.

We aim to keep VanGuard available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates with or without notice. We will endeavour to minimise disruption and will notify you of planned downtime where possible.

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
We may update, modify, or discontinue features of VanGuard at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes. If we discontinue the service entirely, monthly subscribers will receive a pro-rated refund for any unused period.
VanGuard and its design, code, and branding are owned by us. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without our written permission.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
